Welcome to brand new version of ninjapenguin.co.uk, this site aims to provide a resource to all those interested in web development, and also allows people to keep up-to-date with what I am currently (supposed to be) busy with! . .

I'm a 24 year old web developer currently working in Newcastle Upon Tyne and also jointly operate a small web design company (WAM-Design). My primary interests are open source web development with a focus on usability and standards based solutions and I primarily work with PHP/Python, MySQL, Javascript on some unix based platform.

I first started web design when I was completing my A-Levels but took my degree in an unrelated subject, after completing my degree I focused again on web design and application construction before returning to university to complete my MA in Computer Science.
